The 158th bird species was recorded on one of our bird monitoring transects on 26th May. A fine spoonbill Platalea alba was recorded in the scrape area south of the pond on the St Ouen’s Bay transect. This bird was present for a few days but it’s always nice if a rare bird stays long enough to get counted!
